Children’s Wisconsin Resource Centers, operated by Children’s Wisconsin, supports children and youth with special health care needs by helping families and providers find answers, access services, and connect with community resources.
The organization recently rebranded to make its full range of services clearer and more accessible to regional audiences. As part of that effort, the Northeast and Southeast resource centers – which work closely together – needed to update their websites quickly and cost effectively.
Fortunately, the previous sites were built on Titan CMS, an enterprise content management system powered by Northwoods that can facilitate a design refresh without rebuilding from scratch. Our UX team leveraged Children’s Resource Center’s new brand assets to create a single design for the Northeast and Southeast websites using the existing Titan CMS theme. This streamlined approach saved time and budget and eliminated the need for content migration.
While the two websites share an overall design, strategic use of the new brand color palette and design elements give each center a distinct visual presence, allowing them to maintain their unique identities. The updated sites also support expanded content, improved accessibility, and an enhanced user experience.
By leveraging Titan CMS’s built-in technical SEO features – such as metadata, alt tagging, snippets manager, and canonical URLs –, the websites rank better in search, ensuring families and providers can more easily find the resources they need.
