JX Truck Center is a family-owned network of medium- and heavy-duty truck dealerships and support services across the upper Midwest.
JX Truck Center came to Northwoods because its previous, highly customized WordPress website had reached a breaking point. Product uploads frequently crashed the site, and inventory updates and content management were a constant struggle. The overall design was also outdated and in need of a refresh.
Northwoods started by conducting a user experience audit to better understand how JX’s customers searched for vehicles, financing, and parts. Using those insights, we streamlined navigation and rebuilt the site with a modern page builder tool and WooCommerce for e-commerce capabilities.
We also integrated a third-party truck database to create a searchable, filterable catalog that is updated daily. Because JX Truck Center operates more than 30 locations, our team helped to create individual forms for each location, connecting them directly to the product catalog.
The result is a stable, scalable platform with a greatly improved user experience. Northwoods continues to provide ongoing support for larger initiatives, while the internal team handles day-to-day updates.
